Description

Dylan and Connor are joined by Jay Armstrong Johnson (I Put a Spell on You, Moulin Rouge the Musical). Jay is BACK on the pod. Thankfully no one had to wait 300 years for a virgin to light the Black Flame Candle… I Put a Spell on You, Jay’s Halloween extravaganza, returns to Webster Hall on October 20th for its 10th anniversary celebration benefiting the Ali Forney Center. The twins catch up with Jay on all things Winifred Sanderson, how the show has evolved, and which special guests and treats attendees can expect this year. Hint: Robyn Hurder, Ariana DeBose, and more. Y’ALL! Jay is currently starring as Christian in Moulin Rouge the Musical, a role he’s dreamed of since youth but never thought he’d get the opportunity to play. Hear the tea about being passed over for it previously, but how the timing finally was right. We also discuss Jay’s turn in Parade at New York City Center and on Broadway, his love story with his gorgeous boyfriend, and what it was like to step onstage for the 50th anniversary of A Chorus Line. We’re so thrilled to welcome our friend Jay back to the pod for some Double Drama and we know you will love it too. See you on Halloween Night (aka October 20th!).
